I just have to interject,
sisters are the best present one could ever receive from parents.

I fucking love Chanel, and I'm really sorry I ever threw that bottle of lotion at her head back in the early 90s. I have to admit though, she did pull out handfuls of my bleached blonde hair in '95 and listened in to my senior boyfriend and my phone calls in '96. OOOOOOOOH I hated her back then. But not anymore!

My sister fainted today. She's been having stomach problems and
I think the folks took her to the er today after she's come down with
high fever and such.

Crappy thing is she doesn't have insurance.

This of course is more bad news to some other bad news about my parents
afraid of the potential of losing their home. It's not a foreclosure thing,
cos they've already paid it off, but the Damn city of Bellflower is ordering
them to do some major remodeling because the city revised its zoning codes.
It's a load of bureaucratic bs and I don't really want to talk about it.

Other bad news, of course is that friends are losing their jobs left and right.

Not such bad news is despite the wide span of time after that last entry,
Chris and I are still indeed together. It's been almost a year and a half,
and actually very warm and effortless. My roommate Liz pointed out that she's
never seen me happier or laugh the way I do when I'm around him. And you know
what, I think she's right.

I was able to visit the Crocker Galleria Farmers Market last Thursday
and got some excellent stuff! I called a couple friends over to share :

--Spinach bolani (Afghani stuffed bread) with cilantro pesto
--Ash brought over some tasty Gouda that we had with crackers
--Heirloom tomato caprese
--Pan-roasted baby carrots and fingerling potatoes
--Crustless swiss chard quiche
--Flourless chocolate cake

speaking of which, we found a tiny french cafe in the FD that does an
excellent affordable lunch--Bon Bon Patisserie!!!

I've been listening to quite a bit of Avril Lavigne and Mariah Carey and Amy Grant at work from
somebody's shared itunes (that somebody might actually be me) and was totally bummed out
when it asked for a password when I just really wanted to hear Gimme More.

and, I wonder if um I'm actually starting to _like_ these tunes. I think I might be. . .

I'm always looking online for something else new to look at. I already looked through months

1. apparently, dear friend felt that i was being very mean
and jealous at one drunken hang out, when really i was just
goofin and i never slap people, not even when i've had too much

2. marc came back to SF for a few days, and that was
/ is cool but i think i get sad when i realize how stagnant
i've been. he's changed so much, like he's healthier.

so I've been hooked on youtubing mazzy star
